I Finished Gil Galad the other day and I thought I should share with you how well he turned out. I haven't painted a Gil Galad model before so it was all new to me.
From the colours I think you can see that the model is definitely that of an elf. The Turquoise robes show off the model's originality. Most other high elves wear gold, silver, green and blue. The gold armour has been painted to look more richer because Gil Galad is an elf king.
All of these little changes will make him stand out from other my other high elves.
I have also added some gold decoration lines on some of his robes which show off his elf race's beauty.
The last picture just shows the amount of detail that has been put into this model to make it one of my favourites and best paintings.
