The Dangers Of A Craft Knife

Hello there.

Not long after my last post, literally an hour or so I had a little accident. As you will probably guess from the title of this post it involves a craft knife.

After travelling to Peterborough city hospital and waiting 2 long hours I was seen only to be told I may need to go to Addenbrookes  hospital in Cambridge. I was told there was a few of us needing to go to Addenbrookes and that they would be putting on transport. Whilst sat waiting for this transport I was then told i would have to make my own way there.
Once at Addenbrookes I was told to go home and wait for a phone call on the Monday and that I had not heard anything by the end of Monday I was to ring them up as they had forgotten me.
Monday came and went. They had forgotten me. I rang them. "We shall ring you Tuesday" they said. Tuesday came and nearly went I rang again " we will ring you back" they said. They did. " you are looking at Friday to be operated on. We will give plenty of notice". Wednesday 3pm I get a phone call " Can you come in tomorrow at 7:30am". So much for giving me plenty of notice.

Thursday 7:30am I'm at Addenbrookes expecting to go to theatre first as told due to me having diabetes. I have to wait till 3:30pm before they operate due to high blood sugars due to being nervous. I awake a few hours later looking forward to going home, but I cant. They have lost my belongings. Eventually I get them back and I am released from captivity.
I am recovering now but have been put out of action for a few weeks. My Oath of February will not get completed now so it will now be for March as hopefully my muscle damage will be fully recovered.

I have learnt a valuable lesson from this. ALWAYS CUT AWAY FROM YOUR BODY! That way you wont need to go to A&E and get forgotten about with your hand gaping open.

I am hoping that while I am recovering I can post up the items I have promised.
