Hello fellow hobbyists,

First I want to say a big thank you to the guys for making me one of the gang.  I myself collect the undead Vampire Counts and the courageous Blood Angels (as you will have seen in the previous video of me and the Wraiths battle).

I've only been playing for 3 years and a great few years it has been.  I hope I can be a help to novices like myself and give you tips and help that I have discovered along the way.

Alternative Paints

I have been doing this hobby for as long as I can remember, and in all those years I have tried a few alternative paints to the Games-Workshop Citadel  paints.

When I first started back in 2001 Games-Workshop did do a spay can of Shadow Grey (now The Fang) I used this product and happily bought it many times before they discontinued it. It was a great product to work with and I was gutted just like many other hobbyists. They had a range of spays perfect for most armies.

As November is fast approaching I thought I would share with you my Oath of the Month as promised in my opening post. I am hoping that The Warrior, The Wraith and The Witch may also join me with the Oath of the Month with their projects.

The Oath can be anything for that month from painting to converting, any project really. However it must be started on the first of that month and then finished on the last day of the month. For example for November start on 1st November and finish on the 30th November.

Space Marine Minotaurs: Command Squad Part 1

Warrior here!

I am creating a Command Squad unit from the new Space Marine codex. So lets take a look at the Command Squad, and what it can do for the Minotaurs!

You talkin to me?

The command squad is a great unit, able to take a vast array of options and wargear, along with a veterans statline. It is proving very popular in competitive circles when pimped out with bikes and grav guns wall to wall. This is hugely effective but not, I feel, suitable for my Minotaurs!
