Hey guys, haven't posted in a while but I have been busy painting some exceptional hobbit models. This selection of models included Thror, Thrain and young Dwalin from the battle of moria.

Making Necron Sacarab Swarms More Swarmy!

Ever since I started collecting Necons many years ago I have always wondered why a scarab swarm had only four scarabs on its base. To be honest four isn't a swarm so I decided to make mine look more like swarms. Hears how I did it.

What you will need:

• Lots of patience
• Green stuff
• Instant mould
• Unused Scarabs
• Knife
• Clippers
• Super glue
• Hot Water
• Paint and Brushes
• Basing Materials

Step 1
Take your Instant Mould and put into boiling hot water for about 3 minutes

 Step 2
The Instant Mould should now be soft. Take your unused Scarabs and push into the Instant Mould

Step 3
Take the Scarabs out of the Instant mould and put the Green stuff in the Instant Mould

Step 4
Leave Green stuff to set for around 24 hours then take out of the Instant Mould

 Step 5
Using a knife and clippers trim the new Green stuffed Scarabs 

Step 6
Super glue the Green stuffed Scarabs into position on your base

Step 7
Finally paint your scarabs your colour scheme and base

 And there you you have it how to make Necron Scarab swarms look like a proper swarm!
